Understanding the Misunderstood

I've had people speculate who I'd pair with Umbreon. People thought I would pair him with Luna, Twilight, and so on. No one guessed it correctly until I pointed out that Starlight was in my lineup. I thought it would be a nice contrast to Twilight to have her Student take an Umbreon, which I know seems odd at first but makes sense once you get the context of seeing Umbreon as a misunderstood pokemon because of it's "dark" or "evil" type.

Gold: "When agitated, this Pokémon protects itself by spraying poisonous sweat from its pores."
Silver: "When darkness falls, the rings on the body begin to glow, striking fear in the hearts of anyone nearby."
Moon: "With its black fur, it blends into the darkness. It bides its time, and when prey appears, this Pokémon goes for its throat, and then eats it"

Point is, Umbreon is a cute, yet morbid Eeveelution. I feel like Starlight makes a perfect fit for it!
